Ami Barr
Ami Barr is a founding partner and the President of Dimora NYC Inc. With a strong background in architecture, engineering and construction, Barr began his career as a licensed architect in Israel. Barr saw development opportunity in America and moved to New York City in the 1990s where he gut renovated and developed over 50 townhouses and brownstones throughout Brooklyn. Barr took his career to the next level in 2005 when he began developing luxury condominiums in prime areas of Brooklyn such as Park Slope and Williamsburg.
Today, as President of Dimora, he continues developing larger and more intricate buildings in a style that has become known and recognized throughout the city.
Jon Glasser
Jon Glasser is a founding partner of Dimora NYC Inc. Born and raised in Manhattan, Glasser grew up in a real estate family that taught him the nuts and bolts of investment and construction within the city’s unique ecosystem. Prior to venturing out on his own with Dimora, Glasser worked at residential development and investment firm R.A. Cohen & Associates, Inc. where he specialized in the development, acquisition and financing of assets across a 3,000 unit portfolio in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester.
From 2005 to 2011, Glasser acted as owner’s representative for his family’s 75 year old
commercial real estate company where he was given responsibility for the management and oversight of a quarter of a billion dollars worth of property as well as the repositioning and development of properties in Times Square and the Flatiron District. Glasser is a licensed real estate broker with a Professional Certificate from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. He graduated from Brown University in 2004 with a BA in Sociology.
LIAM MILLHISER
Liam Millhiser is a principal at Dimora NYC - Joining the firm in 2016, he brings a prudent understanding of property finance, management and construction.
Having spent time trading cocoa futures on the floors of the New York Mercantile exchange, Liam graduated to work as a sales-trader for Wellington Shields. With a head for negotiation, sales and people Liam also spent this time purchasing individual condo’s in Manhattan which rekindled a life-long New Yorker’s love of real-estate.
Shortly after, he was working for Orsid Realty; a residential management and investment firm, where he specialized in property financials, property management and large-scale capital projects. It was a very healthy perspective on the many rules, regulations and the nuanced nature of anything property related in NYC. And it prepared him well for his next venture; building from the ground up with DimoraNYC.
Liam has studied and continues to study at NYU real estate Schack Institute of Real Estate. He received his BA from University of Puget Sound where he double majored in International Political Economy and Political Science.
Ross millhiser
Ross Millhiser was previously Vice President of R. A. Cohen & Associates, Inc., (2007-2021) where he helped oversee all new property acquisitions as well as property, project and office management. During his tenure he advanced significantly the company's real-estate holdings in NoLita, SoHo, TriBeCa and the Lower East Side. In addition to these responsibilities, he oversaw almost all renovations and compliance with New York property rules and regulations across the companies 3000 apartments. Ross similarly helped with management of the firms 20 person office.
Prior to this position, he was a broker in the Wealth Management group at Lehman Brothers for 5 years.
Ross was born in New York City and grew up on the Upper West Side. He attended the Allen-Stevenson School and Riverdale Country Day School. In 2002, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bates College with a BA in Economics.
